Privacy
This page explains what happens to your details when you sign up for the Dan Palmer Studio starter kit or send a message from the Collaborations page at danpalmergolf.com. The site is run by Dan Palmer (Dan Palmer Golf), who is responsible for your data. You can contact me at [email protected].
What I collect
- Your email address, and your first name if you give it.
- Whether you ticked the box to hear about new tools.
- Where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example YouTube or Instagram).
- The date you signed up, the date you last signed in, and how many times you've signed in.
- If you use the Collaborations form: your name, email, the details you add (such as your channel, handicap and home course) and your message.
Your videos and photos
The tools run inside your own browser. The clips and pictures you open in them stay on your computer and are never uploaded to this website or anyone else.
Why I collect it
- To let you into the kit. Your email is how the site knows you've signed up, including on another computer. This is needed to give you the free access you asked for.
- To reply to your message. Only about the collaboration you asked about.
- To tell you about new tools. Only if you ticked the box. You can ask me to stop at any time, and I'll remove you.
I never sell or share your details with anyone else, and I don't use them for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie, called dpg_kit, to keep you signed in to the kit for up to a year. It's needed for the kit to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The sign-up page remembers which link you arrived from in your browser so it can be saved with your sign-up.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the sign-up list and messages.
- YouTube supplies the video pictures in the Latest videos sections, so your browser loads them from YouTube.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google sees your IP address.
How long I keep it
Collaboration messages are deleted once we've finished talking about them. Sign-ups are kept until you ask me to delete them, or until the free kit closes and I've told everyone who asked to hear about what comes next. After that your details are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask me to correct them, or ask me to delete them, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
